COCOUSA provides an integrated platform to control and manage your smart wearable devices. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, share it, and protect it. By using our services, you agree to the terms described herein.
To enable device discovery, Bluetooth pairing, network configuration, and remote management, we may collect: Wi-Fi information (SSID, BSSID), location data (for Bluetooth scanning), login credentials (nickname, avatar), hardware identifiers (IMEI, MAC address, Android ID, device serial number), system version & language, country/region, screen resolution, CPU/GPU details; wearable device information (IMEI/MAC, IP address, Bluetooth parameters, firmware version, etc.). This data is used for quick connection, status synchronization, and basic communication.
We collect the COCOUSA app version, phone model, list of connected wearables, and their firmware versions to determine whether updates are needed, ensuring you always have the latest features and security patches.
With your permission, we read the list of installed apps so you can choose which ones can push notifications to your wearable. This feature does not involve monitoring or uploading unrelated data.
When you enable calling features on your wearable, with your explicit consent we may access your phone’s contacts to sync them to the device, allowing you to make calls or see caller IDs. Contacts are not stored on our servers.
When you submit feedback or an issue, we may collect your contact information (email/phone), issue description, app logs, and screenshots to diagnose the problem and get back to you.
We collect anonymized behavioral data (page views, clicks, session duration) to analyze usage trends and improve our services. This data cannot identify you personally.
We may request the following permissions, which you can enable or disable at any time in your system settings:
Disabling a permission only affects the associated functionality.
Under applicable laws, we may collect and use your information without consent for reasons such as national security, public health emergencies, criminal investigations, or legal obligations.
Some features rely on third‑party service providers:
We contractually require these third parties to protect your data.
To ensure timely message delivery (incoming calls, alerts) even when the app is in the background or closed, COCOUSA may use system broadcast mechanisms that trigger auto‑start or associated launch. This behavior is strictly necessary for core messaging features. When you open a pushed notification or an in‑app file link, it may launch a third‑party app (browser, map) after obtaining your explicit consent.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it only in the following circumstances:
We implement industry‑standard security technologies (encryption, access controls, intrusion prevention) to protect your information. Only authorized personnel and partners with a need‑to‑know have access, and they are bound by confidentiality. However, no internet transmission is completely secure, so please protect your account credentials.
Your personal information is stored on servers located in China. We retain it for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy or as required by law (e.g., tax, accounting). After the retention period, data is deleted or anonymized.
Through the COCOUSA app (Me → Settings) or by contacting us, you may:
We will respond within 15 business days. Excessive or manifestly unfounded requests may be refused.
By default, your data remains in China. For certain services (international maps, global backups), data may be transferred outside your jurisdiction with appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses, security assessments).
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14. Parents or guardians should review our Children’s Privacy Policy. If we learn that we have collected children’s data without parental consent, we will delete it promptly.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you via in‑app notice, email, or website announcement. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
The COCOUSA app may contain links to third‑party websites or services. Their data handling practices are not covered by this policy. We encourage you to read their privacy policies.
If you have any questions or concerns, or wish to exercise your privacy rights, please contact us at: zglbida@gmail.com. We will respond as quickly as possible, typically within 15 business days. If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority.
